Hung/unplugged graphics device means that your display driver is crashing, or your GPU/MB is faulty. Chrome crashing the GPU driver is nothing new on lower spec hardware though. Do you have it open while running games?
I can't check your log to be certain, but it could be that you're running out of resources (video memory). The GT 730 is a multimedia card and not a good one for multitasking workloads from desktop and games. It could also be a driver bug, I've seen those before related to hw accelerated browsers. Try disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome and/or update your driver, you have a kepler GPU so it should support the latest.
You should try lowering the graphics settings in-game too.Open Google Chrome.Click Customize and Control Google Chrome Settings.Click on Show advanced settings and scroll to the System section.Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available and restart Google Chrome.Latest Nvidia driver. I used to run chrome while sto(star trek online) was up, but not since it started crashing when I had chrome already up or after I opened chrome while the game was running.startrek online is the only game that does this. I ran kerbal space program(way more demanding than sto) with chrome up, not even a twitch, same with starwars the old republic.right now I have firefox and sto up at the same time and she's rock solid.at this point.I believe it could either be a resource issue.ergo chrome and sto trying to use the same resources, or the driver twigging out with sto and chrome up at the same time, though I dont think so.if the driver hung, well, my screen would go black briefly and I'd get the device disconnected noise. I havent gotten that yet.that said, how would I go about getting my logs to attach here to this thread?

You should look for errors that's common to the game's.exe and nvd.dll (nvidia driver) under the errors for reliability. Sto runs on Cryptic Engine d3d11, and doing a few searches it looks like it have some issues that can be resolved if you change to d3d9 under the command line.
Dunno if it will help you though, I mean it's odd that Chrome affects your game like this. Something with Chrome is messing up your game, and if disabling hardware acceleration and updating the drivers doesn't fix it then I'm not quite sure what is happening here. Have you tried running GPU monitoring?
