IT IS only fitting the Dutch Harry crew collected a maiden group 1 on the Anzac weekend. Thankfully Robbie Willis and best mate Mike Buys have the London-based Australian Richard Pegum on side.Pegum found the Queen's discard My Kingdom Of Fife in the Old Dart, got it for a steal, sent it Down Under and yesterday the gelding claimed the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.' 'Unbelievable - 'Peegs' is a genius,' Willis said. 'Peegs is the luckiest man I know,' Buys added.Buys and Willis were supposed to win a group 1 with a horse called Dutch Harry. That was a decade ago at the Brisbane winter carnival but it never eventuated. The pair were cashed up playing the stockmarket and lashed out on their first racehorse. They named it after Buys's great-grandfather Dutch Harry, who flew in bombers in World War II. My Kingdom Of Fife was entrusted to leading trainer Chris Waller and stepped out for the first time in Australia to win the Doncaster Mile Prelude to $151.Starting at $12, My Kingdom Of Fife responded under Nash Rawiller to defy Sacred Choice from completing the Doncaster Mile-Queen Elizabeth double.'

'No complaints,' Sacred Choice's trainer Joe Pride said. 'She had her chance, the 2000m is just a little too far for her.'
'For Waller, the development of My Kingdom Of Fife has been stunning. Even more so when you consider Pegum and the team told the trainer to nominate the gelding for the upcoming Wagga Gold Cup.' 'They picked him up for a fairly good price and they are living the dream,' Waller said. 'There are better races ahead. I liked the way he travelled in the run and cruised away.'
